Quickmap – INTEGRATED TUBE AND TRAIN MAPS FOR LONDON 2000

Description

Quickmap’s London Metro is an integrated, user-designed Tube and train map (version in development, 2000) combining Underground, DLR and multiple train operators (Silverlink, Connex, Thames Trains, Chiltern, etc.). Zones are indicated by station colour and an interchange guide classifies transfer distances as short, medium or long. The map notes service patterns and restrictions—some lines have no Sunday service or evening limitations—and warns that average waiting times vary by service (very frequent central Tube services: ~3 minutes average; other lines: 5–15 minutes, up to ~44 minutes for some train services at certain times). It also cautions that track colours may differ from official Tube or London Connections maps for copyright reasons. The product is based on Quickmap Limited’s design, research, development and field surveys; it is an early release with possible errors and is intended to be refined over time.
